Listening to this song again. I always miss my mom when I hear this song. One day, we were watching the TV Show Pop Up Video (VH1) together, and the Sinead O’Connor video started playing. It revealed Sinead’s tears in the video were real because she just broke up with a record producer. Ever since then, when the song came on, we’d belt it out. So, I just think of her, my mom. All my sadness around her is summed up in this.
